Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD) or alternatively known as BARD located in Comilla. The organization was established in 1959 with a view to providing training to local people and performing research on rural development issues. In addition, different officials of the government are given training based on rural development scheme of the government.

BARD is also acknowledged internationally due to its innovative approaches to rural development that improves day to day living of rural people across the country. It is one of the autonomous institutions of the country and governed by a board of governance which includes ministry of local government. The director general is the chief executive of the BARD and responsible for managing the day to day operational activities of the organization. They have different kinds of training programs designed primarily for govt. officials. However, it provides training facilities to non-government officials as well. 

BARD Job Advertisement 2015

Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development announces job advertisement with a view to full filling required vacancies in the organization. The institution will recruit different types of employees and staffs. The available positions of the BARD 2015 job circular are as follows:-

Procedure of Application

Each candidate must apply through recommended job application form of Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development which can be downloaded from the official website of the institution at: http://www.bard.gov.bd/

In addition to prescribed job application form, applicants for the position of 1 to 5 serial have to attach Taka 200 Pay Order/Bank Draft. Applicants for the position of 6-17 have to attach Taka 100 Pay Order/Bank Draft in favor of Director (Administration), BARD, Kotbari, Comilla from any branches of Sonali Bank Limited.
